Our nurses are exceptionally knowledgeable and competent in all patient care areas. Some of the care you will receive from our nurses include:
Providing supervision for all in-home aides that provide care in the home.
Inspecting wounds, changing dressings, and handling personal grooming and hygiene when necessary and/or providing necessary oversight to in-home aides who are competent to perform these tasks.
Testing for muscle weakness, bedsores, and any signs of infection.
Listening to the concerns of family members and answering their questions.
Educating caregivers and family on the aftercare or ongoing care of the patient.
Providing suggestions for improved healthcare to physicians and family members of the patient.
Monitoring patient recovery and compiling reports for the physician.
Keeping abreast of developments in healthcare and attending workshops and lectures as required.
Collaborating with doctors and other healthcare professionals to develop improved diets and healthcare plans for patients.
In-Home Aide Professionals and Paraprofessionals
Our In-home Aides are qualified and trained to provide exceptional care. Some of the care you will receive from our aides include:
Enabling patients to stay in their homes by monitoring and recording patient condition, providing support and personal services, and teaching families.
Monitoring patient condition by observing physical and mental condition, intake and output, and exercise.
Supporting patients by providing housekeeping and laundry services, shopping for food and other household requirements, preparing and serving meals and snacks, and running errands.
Assisting patients by providing personal services, such as, bathing, dressing, and grooming.
Helping patients care for themselves by teaching use of cane or walker, special utensils to eat, special techniques and equipment for personal hygiene.
Helping family members care for the patient by teaching appropriate ways to lift, turn, and re-position the patient.
Advising on nutrition, cleanliness, and housekeeping.
Recording patient information by making entries in the patient journal and notifying nursing supervisor of changing or unusual conditions.
Maintaining a safe, secure, and healthy patient environment by following asepsis standards and procedures, maintaining security precautions, and following prescribed dietary requirements and nutrition standards.
Protecting the home care agency by adhering to professional standards, home care policies and procedures, federal, state, and local requirements.
Enhancing service reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests, and exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
